I’m a senior operating executive with experience in venture funded startups as well as large public companies. Working in technology based businesses since the mid-nineties, I pioneered online television listings as well as the Internet delivery of economic data and forecasts. I led the launch of one of the earliest successful subscription Web sites. I’ve had key strategic and transactional roles in eleven acquisitions, divestitures, or strategic investments in both the media and consumer products industries and was part of the leadership team for two successful business exits. I’m currently the President and Chief Operating Officer of Omnislash, Inc., an eSports media startup (launching soon). Previously I was the Chief Operating Officer of Infocore, the authority on global direct marketing data and prior to Infocore, COO of The Wrap News, Inc., the leading multi-platform news organization covering the business of entertainment and media and one of the few true digital media success stories. I was also Vice President, Strategy and Interactive Media for The San Diego Union-Tribune, leading SignOnSanDiego.com and new product development and have spoken on the challenges and opportunities facing the online content business at industry and academic conferences. I’ve also worked in finance and strategic planning for consumer products companies, including a short product sourcing assignment in China.
I have volunteered my time as an Entrepreneur in Residence at San Diego’s CONNECT and serve on the board of Advntur, connecting athletes around the world. I am on the board of the Susan G. Komen San Diego affiliate and also serve as the chair of the San Diego Crew Classic‘s Competition Committee.
